This meeting was convened at the National Museum of Natural History, Madrid, Spain.

This workshop addressed several issues related to risk assessment of exposure to anticoagulant rodenticides in European raptors, including: usefulness of certain raptor species to monitor rodenticides based on land use and human activities; secondary exposure in predators; potential sublethal effects due to chronic exposures; review of analytical methods among labs; usefulness of exposure and effect biomarkers; opportunity to propose new in vitro models for the assessment of effects.
